Beware of the “I have arrived” mentality. They is always more height to reach, more grounds to cover, more knowledge to gain. When you feel that you have arrived, you stop moving and when you stop moving, you become irrelevant to your generation. Success is not a destination but a journey.
Beware of the “I’m the only one that is good at it” attitude. Whether in your workplace or anywhere you find yourself and you are the one always called to handle major responsibilities and because you think you are the only one with the skills enough to do it, you begin to take your position and the things entrusted into your care for granted. Beware because you can be easily replaced. You may think no one can do it as good as you do but you may be shocked to see that someone else can do it even better.
Beware of pride. The Bible says that pride goes before destruction and haughtiness before a fall(Proverbs 16:18). Pride is a weapon used against oneself. It precedes shame, dishonor and disgrace. Beware of it like a plague.
