You may be familiar with the story of two men who were digging in a cave looking for treasures. They dug and dug and dug when all of a sudden, the first man dropped his pickaxe in anger and said to his companion, “I give up! We’ve been digging for days and there is nothing to show for our labor.”
His companion pleaded with him to continue perhaps if they dug deeper, they would find some treasure but he refused and went his way. The second man kept on digging until he struck something. He dug faster only to find the biggest and most beautiful diamond he had ever seen in his life.

What am I trying to bring out of this story? You may ask.
You may be hardworking, diligent and even disciplined in pursuing your dreams and goals but if you are not consistent, it will all be a waste. Only consistent people get the rewards of their labor. Look, when you are feeling tired and it seems like no positive result is coming forth, then it means that you are super close to your success. All you have to do is to be consistent, keep on keeping on, keep sowing good seeds(Impact people’s lives) and never lose hope.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9(NLT).

Thanks for reading and God bless you.

  1. I Love this Anthonia! It describes my life to a certain degree. I’m a diligent worker, I still work full time and have been working in the laboratory field for 40+ years now and I’m definitely enjoying the rewards. I’m so happy I have a job that I love so that I can do the things I love, and enjoy my life to it’s fullest. Sending you warm hugs! 💞💞💞
